Productbeschrijving
An upmarket puzzle celebrating Darwin’s epochal voyage—one of the most important in human history—in Maria Rivans’s signature style
In the same style as her successful Orient Express puzzle, Maria Rivans celebrates one of history’s greatest ever journeys: Charles Darwin’s voyage around the world on HMS Beagle. Between 1831 and 1835, he called on the Canary Islands, Brazil, Argentina, the Falklands, Chile, Australia—and, of course, the Galapagos archipelago, where giant tortoises and tiny finches perfectly illustrated his momentous discoveries. Vintage maps and a host of charming imagery bring Darwin’s story to life; and, as in Maria’s other puzzles, the intricate and colorful art gives the puzzler a particularly satisfying experience. The distinctive box format and design are conceived to merchandise next to the puzzle’s two precursors, encouraging customers to move from one to the next and collect the set.
